The Bicycle, Blues and BBQ Festival is a completely volunteer run organization. These are people just like you who have a passion for cycling, blues music, and BBQ, or want to help improve the cycling amenities of North Iowa. But there are never enough of us, so we need your support.
There is a wide range of volunteering opportunities suitable to all preferences, ranging from easy sit-in-a-chair assignments to physically demanding tasks. You are sure to find a role that is perfect for you!

The following events are available for volunteering.
- Criterium corner marshals and medical tent volunteers (morning/afternoon/evening)
- Road race corner marshals, medical tent volunteers, parking marshals and post-race cleanup (morning/afternoon)
Guidelines and Requirements * No Experience Necessary!
Anyone can volunteer; children must be accompanied by an adult. Some roles aren’t a good fit for children. If you are volunteering with your child, please choose roles that are appropriate for them. For example, course marshaling requires giving instructions to adults such as “Don’t cross the street right now; the racers are coming!”
Each volunteer will be asked to sign this form: http://www.usacycling.org/forms/volunteer_release.pdf
Please bring it with you to your shift when you report for duty. Copies will also be available at the registration tent. Each volunteer will be asked to follow our “Code of Conduct” by presenting a professional and caring image.
All volunteers are invited to the hospitality tent for free beverages on Friday evening at the park between 5:30-10:00 PM as thanks for your help making this another successful event.
